Aluminum is different from iron because it doesn’t rust, but it can still get worse when it’s outside. It creates a special layer called oxide that stops it from rusting more, which is really good at preventing corrosion. No entanto, things like salty air near the coast, when the oxide layer gets damaged, or when it touches other metals that react easily can all make aluminum not as strong. Even with these things, aluminum is still good to use outside because it doesn’t easily corrode, but you have to take care of it to make sure it lasts a long time.
